The problem
John, his partner and their two children were struggling to sleep in hot bedrooms, and the living room was too warm to relax in.
Our recommendation
After a Comfort Assessment, we recommended a multi-split system for the bedrooms, with one outdoor unit serving several rooms, plus a separate unit for the living room so it could be controlled on its own.
What we installed
A unit in each bedroom, plus a dedicated unit in the living room. At John’s request we used black trunking (the cover that hides the pipework), so it matches the black guttering and looks neat from outside.
How it feels now
The whole family is comfortable day and night. They were also pleasantly surprised by how well it heats the house in the colder months, not just cools it.

Is air conditioning suitable for UK homes?

Yes. It’s increasingly common in bedrooms, home offices and extensions that overheat. We’ll confirm your home is a good fit.

Does it heat as well as cool?

The systems we recommend do both from the same unit. Your Comfort Plan will confirm it for your system.

Is it noisy?

Modern indoor units are designed to run quietly, and many have a night mode. We’ll share the sound levels for your recommended model.

Will the indoor units look intrusive?

We plan positions and pipe routes with you. There are slim wall, floor-standing and more hidden options.

Is it expensive to run?

It depends on your rooms, insulation, usage and tariff. Treating one room rather than the whole house means using energy only where you need it. We’ll explain what to expect.

How many rooms can one system cover?

One room or several. One outdoor unit can often serve more than one indoor unit.

Where does the outdoor unit go?

Usually on an outside wall or at ground level with good airflow. We agree the spot with you, with looks and neighbours in mind.

How long does installation take?

Single rooms are often done in a day. Multi-room systems take longer. Your plan gives a clear timeframe.

Do I need planning permission?

Many homes don’t, but it depends on location, property type and unit position. We’ll check during your assessment.

What warranty will I receive?

The manufacturer’s warranty, plus our workmanship guarantee.
